Printing names on the copy is most certainly not a normal tactic for
publishers. This is a very personalized release and, in my
experience, quite abnormal.

I was very tempted, and to some extent still am, to lift some
letterhead from my school or some other reputable institute and
attempt to get a copy. During the PR release - which actually might
be over by now anyways - there is sure to be some confusion and anyone
with formidable letterhead might have a shot, unless it runs past TRP
Himself. But regardless of the bad odds against me I think I've
resigned to not bothering even given a small shot (as have you all, it
seems, because if I can lift letterhead, then I'm sure you all can as
well). I'll wait for the novel, and until then be as the Buddhist who
enjoys the wanting more than the having. Simply put, even if I could
pull it off (very bad odds, I do realize), I wouldn't deserve it.

Anyhow, Pamela Anderson is on the Kimmel show in the background (where
did this come from?). For those who respect refined, intelligent
pieces of art, you should know that she is wearing an uncensored
see-through shirt. Against the Day that this is no longer possible!
If you squint real hard you can't even notice to Botox. van der Goes
has nothing on this.
