Pynchon's Son a Big Man on Campus

I'll second that "privileged life" - of course we all
are blessed, but Upper West Side Manhattan is a pretty
nice place to be if your Dad is an
internationally-known and respected and successful
artist from a family with deep American Establishment
roots. Pynchon does a pretty good job of undercutting
all that in his work, which I think shows the futility
of much of what people do, but the irony remains.
Either TRP didn't heed the P-list warning about
Jackson's online action and get the lad out of the
public eye, or Jackson is something of a rebellious
youth, maybe? Looks like a good kid.
Any odds that's really Pynchon in the picture next to
Jackson?
