ATD at the Frankfurter Buchmesse

Well, Michel, in small markets it usually comes down to the efforts of 
one person, and one person only -- in this case, the Greek publisher, 
who decided to include Pynchon in her list of (personal) favourite 
authors, alongside Perec, Eliade, Brink and Yourcenar, among others.

For the record, V. is still being translated by yet another p-list 
"lurker", and will probably be finished in a few months.

I 've talked with the publisher, and there's a good chance I may 
undertake the huge task of translating ATD. You see, after January, I 
WILL have some time in my hands -- otherwise, the view from down here 
won't be so pretty...
