What a pleasure it is to see we agree. You've been
perceptive in this respect, Rob, since the beginning. 

Still to come are print advertisements for the book,
when people can see them and go into a store and buy
it.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a Web site go up prior to
publication.  I forget, did the M&D site appear before
the book?

Still plenty of time forelements of a more traditional
marketing campaign to appear, including, I hope, an
interview with Pynchon, or at least another essay by
him in the paper.

They could do a podcast with P's voice clipped from
that The Simpsons episode, too.  Big Bird - maybe you
can suggest that to your Penguid pals.
