Galley photo

okay, there's a shadow of what looks to me like a backwards copyright notice just beneath the reviewer's name...what's up with that?
no signs of any palimpsest (drat!)
The typography is, like, Against the Day is bold and as if standing nearer, as a new feature emerging from the landscape of (the "further" and larger feature represented by the lighter type of) Pynchon's name...
