Jonathan Winters is a regular at the Ventura Farmer's Market at the
county fairgrounds. He is there most weekends sitting on a park bench
bantering with the locals. His interactions with my wife one weekend
might have pissed me off had they been with some other man. One of my
favorite hikes on the planet is the hike from the city of Montecito
to Montecito Peak. It would be fun to run into Cleese in that setting.

Montecito makes my neighboring town of Santa Barbara look like a poor
relative. For example, Oprah Winfrey has a $50+ million estate in
Montecito, and many people like Beanie Baby Billionaire Ty Warner
call it home.

I once ran into John Cleese at a Santa Barbara farmer's market. He
was very pleasant about my brief interruption of his peaceful
Saturday morning. One of only a handful of celebrities I've ever had
any interest in meeting. Now there is a certain author though....
