Wow, good memory. I just had to look it up. I did in fact call the intro
"pedantic and harsh." If I recall the discussion correctly, I think I felt
that a "new" intro to SL would be less critical, and more inclined toward
absolutism in terms of politics.

Frankly speaking, I can barely remember what I meant by a post a week ago,
let alone one three years ago.
