If : 2. Big Brother isn’t real . . .
3. King Arthur is, most likely, a historical figure.
The legend of: 4. Santa Claus (St. Nick) is sourced (outsourced?) from several legends, but also has some basis in fact.
There’s more historical proof of the existence of: 12. Robin Hood then there is of Jesus Christ (interestingly not on this list).
33. Dracula is based on a historical figure, as is the eternally popular:
35. Citizen Kane, based on an admixture of Orson Welles’ Ego and the equally large ego of a newspaper publisher with a taste for oversized residences.
36. Faust and 40. Don Juan are based on historical figures.
Peter Sellers rendition of: 87. Dr. Strangelove is 90% Henry Kissinger and:
100. John Doe still plays with X from time to time.
