OK, but numerous people have reported getting stoned with Pynchon, so
he is at least familiar with weed.  And no one can convince me that
his description of the wall painting in Dora, with its deeper and
deeper levels of detail is anything but an LSD trip observation.  I
just suspect, w/o proof, that Jule's account was not too far from the
mark, jealousy or not.
