Yes, a lot of light. The Thelonious Monk quote, photographic technique, 'light over the ranges', refraction, etc. And then there's also that possible connection between Tesla, lightbulbs, the Tunguska event, and the 'Kirghiz Light'.  Ah, tantalising stuff....
