No response after 2 times up the flagpole.
#3 try includes: original dumb question with modifications,
emendations, and never before seen additions

Anyone ever suggest that along with all the other implications of the
phrase, that "gravity's rainbow" could describe Oil(Really Fossil
Fuels from Coal to Diamonds) with its rainbow sheen and coal-tars
turned to color dyes. OIl ( really compressed carbon chains in
general) is the product of Gravity and Life. Life meaning reproducing
carbon-based DNA coded light eaters, walkers, wrigglers, slimers,
flagellators, swimmers, fliers and hangers about all of which
eventually succumb to Gravity and are recycled. It just seems like
This particular useful substance with its rainbow packed flames could
be thought of as the fast forward rocket fuel and Pandora's box of
the 19th and 20th Century, and layers rather nicely into the text of
the Novel.

Where's the emendations? I don't see any any flipping emendations.

Dave asked about my glass stuff. Not really putting this out for
critical analysis but here are my 2 most recent windows

PS I tried this with photos as attachments but the email never got
posted even though it seems to have sent . Is there a filter/rule
against emails with attachments?
