ATD please include ATD + PAGE # + SUBJECT to avoid Spoilers

Most of us have common sense and can figure out when
and if something is likely to be a SPOILER. I don't
if any of us can consistently keep in mind the effort
not to offend or annoy other p-listers in this regard
("spoiling" a first reading of ATD), but it's really
not that difficult if people just try to be
considerate.

I understand that this represents a major change of
direction for many frequent, longtime p-listers,
myself included. If it's not apparent then I need to
work harder at breaking the old, bad habits now that
we actually have a new Pynchon novel to discuss -
specifically, I'm not interested in pointless flame
exchanges with the usual suspects and am doing my best
to ignore the occasional brain-dead provacateur.

Spirited, civil discussion and debate - that's what
I'm after here, plus help to make sense of the many
references and allusions in Against the Day.
