Anybody who's having a difficult time understanding
why it could be important to eliminate passing around
again and again huge chunks of the thread together
with the latest message, consider the case of the
blind P-list reader trying to page through all that
redundant stuff to listen to the new stuff.  

Summarizing and getting to the point results in better
posts, too. 

True, it requires an extra measure of consideration
for your fellow P-listers, which is why the worst
offenders (who happen to be the most frequent posters
these days - Macking may be the worst) will ignore
such requests as they have for the past 10 years.
