Murdoch vs. Pynchon

Uncanny.  My kid's just as eager as yours to carry on
the torch of the 60s generation, mine with Dylan,
yours with Pynchon.  

What did you mean about future Pynchon novels after
he's dead?  I guess it's conceivable, but that sort of
thing never has the sort of market pop that you get
from a new Elvis compilation, or the John Lennon
albums that may still be in the making. 

The Hemingway stuff that came out of his notebooks was
ridiculed when it was presented as "novels" wasn't it?

What a great dad you obviously are. No kidding.
