I saw Heimat II when it was broadcast years ago on tv. I was probably too
young and stupid to appreciate it but I kept watching it. On my list of
"things to buy when I have some cash". I think it was shown on BBC 4 here 
but I didn't have digital at the time.

I know Herzog lives in LA these days but I can recomend Aguirre: the wrath
of god.
