It was big of you to admit you backed Bush on Iraq, becasue you got duped. 
I've never found it easy to understand how anyone who'd been keeping an eye 
on BUsh/Blair/Cheney/Rumsfeld/Rove/Wolfowitz/etc. could ever have believed 
anything they were saying. The so-called left-wing Guardian newspaper here 
in the UK, in their Sunday 'Observer' incarnation, even went as far as 
publishing an editorial backing the invasion, so there was a range of dupees 
in evidence. In contrast, The Independent had a front page headline, at the 
time when Bush, Blair nad that Spanish twat were meeting 'to avoid war' on 
Diego Garcia, reading 'The final charade'. They had that right.

I don't want to argue with you, or anyone else. Please stop trying to tie me 
to Dough though, he & I have had our dsagreements too y'know. There's been a 
lot of interesting stuff on the p-list lately, I much prefer it to the 
occassional bickering outurst. Not claiming I've always been innocent but I 
agree with your suggestion that we should move on.
