I liked it fine, as did my roommate, who's a Bruno
Ganz fan, but a friend who I assumed would really love
it was instead apparently deeply troubled by its
"humanization" of Hitler.  Meanwhile, a military
historian of my acquainatnce said it was the most
accurate (I'm presuming in terms of detail, who knows
what actually went on down there?) WWII film he's ever
seen (and this is a guy who went after Pearl Harbor
for, among many, many other things, having the wrong
tail markings on the Zeroes and having them come in at
the wrong angle of descent) ...
