Vineland criticism

The "original" (before my time here) GRGR happened in 9/96 hosted by
Andrew Dinn and started with this post:

But it fizzled by February for reasons I don't know.  I think it was
partly because Jules Seigel jumped into the list and also MD was
pre-announced.

The 2nd GRGR started after the 1st MDMD in May 1999 with this post:

And FINISHED (but with only a remnant of those that started it) in
August 2000. over a year later.

If you look at the archives during those periods, you'll see there are
alway far fewer participating that those posting other things.
