speaking of history, on a different note, Rob Newman's History of Oil is pretty good.  http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article13416.htm Stumbled across that for the first time the other night, though I guess he's well known in England.  

are there any right-wing comedians that funny?  

Is (serendipitous on-topic segue) Pynchon-name-dropper on his onetime talk show that Dennis Miller funny now that he has changed his politics?

was the talk show good?
