I second that e-motion.  I keep saying this, but ...

Well, we all come to these novels (for starters ...)
with different backgrounds.  Some don't need, say,
deatilas about WWII or physics or American history or,
well, whatever filled in, and some do.  And everybody
need different info than others.  Given a rare chance
at a runing head start here, no reason not to take it
...
