V., TCOL49, GR, Vineland, M&D, ATD.  Maybe it's
over-reaching to call them "one big novel" but they
look quite tightly interwoven once you start reading
closely.  That could account for the rather slow pace
of Pynchon's publications, he's keeping a lot of balls
in the air at once, getting back in time to keep them
flying and maybe add just one more....
