Thanks for the link - hadn't read that one, but I wholeheartedly agree with
Harry Siegel's assessment (OK: condemnation) of the Wunderkind JSF. Back
here in Denmark, EL&IC was almost universally lauded when it came out. I
wrote a long and scalding review of the novel, but I'm afraid it sunk
without a trace into the sea of acceptance which met Foer's poor excuse for
a novel (my review certainly hasn't been quoted on the back of the
paperback, let me tell you...).
