I can't have the 'prior history of the list' as I didn't know about its 
existence until recently.

I'm from Europe and I like Pynchon (duh). Won't specify other stuff, as I 
truly beleive that personal ideas on such a list are more important than 
personal info. I'm not much interested in your background for example, 
(unless you think it's important I know it) there are opinions of yours that 
I agree or disagree with, that's the name of the game for me.
