Just a random tidbit and a tangent: found out recently (this might not
be news to any of you) that "your mom wears army boots" comes from
WWII era France, when the Germans invaded.  The Nazis would shack up
with a lustful woman and as a gift of thanks would give them a pair of
army-issue boots.  Hence, to say someone's mother wears army boots is
to call their mother a Nazi whore.
