Afraid you may be overreacting a little about both  the brilliance of  
the insights and the viciousness of the attacks. With regard to the  
latter, some things were said but the recipients were all capable of  
answering back if they wanted to. No blood was shed. No nervous  
breakdowns occurred as far as I've heard. Many  of us are still here.  
The p-list is as popular as it ever was.
