seen Homer, Chaucer ... one thing is, Joyce wrote only
three of 'em, Cervantes, what, just the one? 
Melville, Pynchon, Flaubert, not so many, either. 
Dostoevsky, Tolstoy.  Whereas Balzac, Dickens, James
