Contemporary Fiction

Wow, what a question. I've thought from time to time of people I would like to have met, but not really about events I would like to have witnessed. (And the people would probably be T. E. Lawrence and Joshua L. Chamberlain; both scholar-soldiers and, no, I can't explain the appeal. Probably some perverse spin on the work hard, play hard thang.)

If you could go back in time...and witness any event...where would you go? When Dr. Tom Greenbaum faces that question after successfully discovering the secret to time travel, he knows the time, place and event he will witness: the death and failed resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Sigh. Michael Moorcock -- sometime in the late60s, early 70s.

Steve-- I know, I said cock.
