Yeah, that's pretty darned incriminating, talking
about trying to find out about what's going on in this
matter.  Damn your detective skills!  You are
fiendishly clever, indeed.

Inquiries made, nothing conclusive, except that jbor
is an exposed hoaxter grasping at straws.  I was wrong
on the time frame, of course, it took 5 years before
jbor's lies & Wikipedia fraud gave us the opportunity
to straighten this out, at the cost of his reputation
as a trustworthy scholar, unfortunately, but you've
got to admire that one for the Gipper spirit.

The plot continues as I look forward to a moment when

A conspiracy of listeners. Still waiting for Pynchon's
denial or legal action against Playboy Japan.  What we
heard instead was jbor lying too make it appear as if
a Pynchon authority had corroborated the Melanie
Jackson canard when instead the Pynchon authority did
no such thing and asked jbor not to pass along as fact
an uncorroborated rumor.

Sin?  I don't know about that, but clearly jbor
remains a liar and a fraud, and this cover-up claim
remains absurd.
