looked up Michael Berube, seems he had an interesting exchange with some big neocon awhile back but wouldn't take the blame for all the murders in Communism that the dude offered him in exchange for protesting Iraq war

also written a book about having a special needs child
and a book on Tolson, Pynchon and the canon which I broke down and ordered, now if I could only remember who Tolson is

Clyde Tolson, of the FBI?
Melvin Tolson, the poet?

now off to Pynchon Notes 31 for a look at Berube's article...

and I think Dave would make an excellent panelist!
