First of all, I would also like to thank John Carvill, who notwithstanding 
his numerous constraints kept sending pithy posts with very relevant 
questions, but unfortunately this coincided with a slump in P-list activity.

I think many will agree that the hero of this week is Tore, that advocate of 
the Devil and provocateur extraordinaire whose Byzantine 'fizzling out' 
thread provoked such a resurgence of AtDtDA related posts.

The villains of the week: Oprah and Jonathan Franzen.
