I am hoping someone on this list knows this book. I'm helping a customer. 
 It kind of seemed like someone here might know.
The customer question is this:
"read this sci-fi book around 1966. people stricken by sleeping 
sickness caused by aliens who take over polar ice caps."

Does anyone on this list know this title?
