I've been at this a couple/three decades now, and
EVERYBODY'S finished AtD before me ...

The Crying of Lot 49, if only for a breather. 
Besides, I think you might find much of relevance to
AtD there.  Not that there's anything wrong with the
other books ...

And it's never bugging anyone here to give opinions on
nigh unto anything, certainly not Pynchon ...
