Actually yeah, I am reading Borges in Spanish at the moment. This is 
shameless showing off (sometimes I indulge in this), but  at the moment I'm 
reading seven books in seven different languages. However there is one 
factor which keeps my ego in check and prevents it from blowing up like 
'Inconvenience', there is a person I know who not only reads in but also 
translates from about  thirty languages, so there is always room for 
improvement. And I will never read Pynchon the way you Americans do, so it 
cuts both ways.
