By all means, brag about your accomplishments. I'm incredibly impressed and jealous. Like most native-born Americans, I'm essentially monolingual, even after 4 years of high school Spanish and 2 years of college Russian. American bigotry assumes that everyone who's anyone will know English. As we enter the 21st century, it's probably a poor assumption to make. Mandarin, anyone?
