This very brief half-page negotiation set-piece is a snapshot of the 
kind of thing that happens in smoke-filled rooms. We see Deuce take 
on the assignment of taking care of Webb, although his name isn't 
mentioned, and the exact deed isn't mentioned. I suppose it could all 
fall under the rubric of plausible deniability. Since the company rep 
isn't willing to put it into words, Deuce is canny enough to figure 
that the job should be worth a lot more. There's the usual 
misdirecting talk about irrelevant specifics, and then the deal is 
struck.
