Enough Vollmann Bashing!: A Plea

My facination with Tarot cards and other forms of Scrying begins with multiple readings of Gravity's Rainbow, feeling an extraordinary resonance with the book's Quabbalistic passages. The way Rilke's Duino Elegies are enfolded into GR suggests Enochian Callings, as does the presence of Rebekah in Mason & Dixon. 

Although I have yet to finish Vollmann's "Royal Family", I'm might impressed by what I've read so far.
