ATDTDA (7): 199-200 plotline

Shift to the Traverse progeny, two of them anyway: Reef and Frank. 
Frank is diligently working at school, apparently financed by the 
in-the-moment, for-the-moment, lucky-as-all-get-out Reef. On this 
occasion Reef is looking for help. He wants Frank to accompany him 
westward to watch his back on a romantic chore. Frank is worried 
about an upcoming exam, but Reef puts the fix in with the Prof and 
they're on a train and on their way. The exact mission is 
unclear...not quite as unmentioned as the earlier conversation 
between Deuce and the Comany rep...something about "making the other 
one loog good," but which one isn't clear yet. The curvature of the 
earth is sensed as they cross the salt flats, alongside an immanent 
sense of other things.
