New Member/Question

I recommend reading Pynchon's books in the order they were published:

    V.
    The Crying of Lot 49
    Gravity's Rainbow
    Vineland
    Mason & Dixon
    Against the Day

As for the short stories, I remember having so much fun tracking them 
down (and meeting great people as I did so) that I'm not sure what to 
say. Most of them are collected in Slow Leaner. I suppose I'd 
recommend reading that after GR.
