I'd try the first encounter between Slothrop and Squalidozzi at the Odeon in
Zürich, or the story told by Ensign Morituri (with that nostalgia for
Hiroshima a few weeks before its bombing) aboard the Anubis. The story of
how Jessica and Roger met is quite nice too. It's so hard to choose!
