That is one possibility, although Richard wasn't known for his guitar
playing, and the Harley he died on was red, as was Dylan's Triumph.
Dylan was known for his guitar playing (at least while Pynchon was
writing AtD), and his mailing address is P.O. Box 870 *Cooper*
Station New York, NY 10276. Although neither man was blond, Dylan's
last recording before taking a spill was 'Blonde on Blonde.'
