The Stallone Rocky series was yet undreamed when GR was
published, but reading this now I was bemused by
how it inverts the _On the Waterfront_ dynamic...
Pig Bodine sort of playing the brother and Rocketman
the boxer...but Bodine offering the reproach
...which wouldn't have that overtone to
somebody who hadn't seen Rocky (unless they were prescient)
enjoying the tag team effect, and nice links...
I've been using my time normally allotted for thinking up retorts & persiflage
in reading the hosting -- fascinated by that Wolfli guy,
and also the Volokovsky guy on symbols
(which he must have written between writing those
books about extraterrestrials (-;) -- seems like a lot
easier to follow than, say, Peirce...although I still haven't
finished it anyway despite that...
"That is that of which I speak!"
