Not only novelists and discussers I'm afraid. You know, I have recently had 
a conversation with a university maths teacher and asked her about Riemann 
space. She had never heard about it. Moreover, in another conversation I 
mentioned Tesla to a couple of engineering students, so they learnt about 
the existence of this fine person from me. O tempora, o mores!
