Pynchon 200 pages in , my last comment was at about 120,  seems on the game.
It is an exhilarating read at times then a chore. I somehow missed the big
transition to Lew. (you know one of those gaps between reading late at night
and perhaps slightly drunk then picking up the next time) CoC are fun and it
works fantastically in a GR way. But more sinister plots are afoot.

I love this book. I keep coming on, drawn to a language that no other
produces...
