I doubt that Barrymore has heard about Pynchon before either, but that's 
another story.

As for 'friendly ribbing', you know, if I were afraid to get it, I wouldn't 
be posting anything at all, as one might get an unfriendly roundhouse kick 
Chuck Norris style even for smaller crimes than 'speculating about painfully 
obvious'. And I think that Lisa Simpson has not progressed beyond Lot 49.
