A Political History of SF

In his Ford Foundation fellowship application of 1959, TRP planned
to adapt a scifi novel to the operatic stage, the candidates being
Bester's "The Demolition Man" and Bradbury's "Martian Chronicles".

My AB favourite is "The Stars Are My Destination". One of the best
SF novels I've read. Existential, hardboiled, Shakespearean.

By the way, I got James Tiptree Jr.
