On reflection, I agree with all of these sentiments. I have no idea what
that blasted reviewer was thinking.
Though I can imagine Pynchin spending time yelling at the set.

I agree. I'm sure he has at least one more Vineland-sized novel to
offer, and I think there may be something to pynchonoid's speculation
that a children's book might be a possibility (considering P's role as
father these past, what ... fifteen years or so?). And that's not even
considering miscellaneous short stories and goofy poems/lyrics he's
likely accumulated over the years.
