Everybody know to try "define:<term>" at Google?

        define:spar

An earthy mineral that breaks with regular surfaces,
and has some degree of lustre; a crystallized earthy
mineral of a shining lustre.

The general term given to all of the poles used for
masts, yards, etc.

        define:odin

(Icelandic, Scandinavian) [from Wodan from odr cosmic mind;
cf Greek nous, Sanskrit mahat] As a god, foremost of the
aesir in Norse mythology; as a human being, the founder of
the ancient Norse religion. Odin is the Great Sacrifice of
our world system, hung or mounted on the Tree of Life
throughout its duration, seeking runes of wisdom in the
material worlds, "raising them with song" and at the end
of time falling once more from the tree. ...

(Norse mythology) ruler of the Aesir; supreme god of war and
poetry and knowledge and wisdom (for which he gave an eye)
and husband of Frigg; identified with the Teutonic Wotan

Odin, Icelandic/Old Norse Óðinn, Swedish Oden, English/Anglo-Saxon
and Old Saxon Wõden, Old Franconian Wodan, Alemannic Wuodan,
German Wotan or Wothan Lombardic Godan. Although its precise
mythological meaning is controversial, the name appears to be
formed from òð and -in. In Old Norse, òð means by itself
'"wit, soul" and in compounds "fierce power, energy;"
the suffix -in means "master, lord." Thus, Odin means
master of the life force.

The typical autofellator: He hung on a tree, or spar.
Double entendre. His region seems to include Iceland.

I wouldn't be on this, but I had a dream. Well, first
there was a girl in In-n-Out, and she tipped her boobs
to me, and then, waiting behind her to fill my coffee,
I heard, Godiva, like God, I've a hard on, or I'd like
to see you naked. In meditation later, I recovered the
subtle undertones: She said, You're horny? ... Me Too!
and when she passed by me leaving, she said, We fucked.

But in the dream that night, I put my hand in a small
pig's mouth, which had horrific long teeth like nails.
Next thing I know, I am riding away on a larger pig.
I wonder how Jesus got his donkey? Skipping lots of
other dreams, I come to the part where I was, like,
sitting outside an army barracks with a buddy, and,
he was talking, and part of it was unintelligible,
and he advised me to look into Runes. So, here...

In an act of shamanistic self-suffering, Odin hung from the
world-tree Ygdrassil for nine days until the secrets of the
runes were revealed to him. Encoded within them were all the
patterns of the universe. I know I hung on that windswept
tree, Swung there for nine long nights, Wounded by my own
blade, Bloodied for Odin, Myself an offering to myself:
Bound to the tree, That no man knows Whither the roots of it
run. None gave me bread, None gave me drink, Down to the
deepest depths I peered Until I spied the Runes. With a
roaring cry I seized them up, Then dizzy and fainting, I
fell. Well-being I won And wisdom too. I grew and took joy
in my growth: From a word to a word I was led to a word,
>From a deed to another deed. -- The Poetic Edda (circa 1200
A.D.)

The word "kenning" is used a lot in conjunction with runic
interpretations. Kenning is a poetic metaphor used to
describe something in terms of something else. Since the
runes are tied to germanic myth which, as all myths, can be
highly metaphorical the true meaning of a rune often times
can be buried underneath the theme of a mythic germanic
tale. Here is an example... At the most basic level, and
without any kenning at all, the rune Fehu represents
"cattle"... plain simple little cows. So if Fehu came up in
your spread could it mean that cows are in your future?
Quite possibly, but it is more likely that the rune
represents what cattle symbolized to the early germanic
people.

The Celtic Ogham alphabet dates from the fourth century. The
alphabet is named for Ogmos, the Celtic god of knowledge.
Ogmos was associated with the Gaulish Ogmios and
occasionally the Greek hermes. The alphabet consists of
twenty letters, each named for a different tree believed
sacred to the Druids. Each letter is made up of one to five
straight or angled lines incised on a straight base line.
Because the number of letters, and the number of lines that
make up each letter, some scholars have theorized that the
ogham may have originated as a system of hand signs.

Runes are a Norse alphabet developed around 200 BCE, from
characters used for magical purposes. It was believed to
have been discovered by Odin as he hung upside down and
wounded for nine days on the World Tree Yggdrasil . There
are three commonly known runic alphabets: the 'elder' and
'younger' Futhark (futhark being the transliteration of the
first few letters of that alphabet), the Anglo-Saxon
futhork, and the Danish 'short twig' or script alphabet. The
word 'rune' literally means a 'whisper' or 'secret.' The
Elder Futhark is the oldest, and consists of three sets of
eight letters; there have been as many as thirty three runic
characters, and as few as sixteen at various times. Runes
have been used as a divinatory device from the beginning,
and some scholars believe that at one time, a special class
of diviners existed dealing soley in rune reading. In the
present time, runes are created and used by Asatru believers
as a device for meditation and divination.

The name is from a root run- (Gothic runa) meaning "secret".
(C.f. also Finnish , where runo was loaned to mean "poem".)

Naturally, I used the 18 Runes that Guido von List introduced.

traced to the occult and volkisch author Guido von List, one
of the important figures in Germanic mysticism and runic
revivalism in the late 19th and early 20th century. In 1908,
List published in Das Geheimnis der Runen ("The Secret of
the Runes") a set of 18 so-called "Armanen Runes", based on
the Younger Futhark, which were allegedly revealed to him in
a state of temporary blindness after a cataract operation on
both eyes in 1902.

Quite to the contrary, the Armanen Futhork is a system of
creative energies that naturally reaches far beyond the
well-defined cabbalistic energies.

The Eighteen Sacred Futhork Runes are a symbolism that
represents universal cosmic structures. They connect with
the natural zodiac of creative energies the periodic system
of chemical elements the world crystal, and crystal
structures in general a Runic musical scale with 18 tones

the system of numbers with the base 18 RUNES ARE COSMIC
ENERGIES OF CREATION that connect you with the WORLD
CRYSTAL.

Runes are Symbols on Many Levels First, they carry a number
that defines their position within the symbolism as a whole.

Second, each Rune is a symbol. You can draw or visualize
this symbol.

The graphic symbols of the Runes connect with the WORLD
CRYSTAL. They are representatives of the creative energies
of the world crystal. The symbol of the world crystal is the
hexagon with the three inscribed diameters. If you look at a
regular quartz crystal from the top you will see this
structure. Each Rune fits neatly into this symbol of the
world crystal.

Next, each Rune naturally connects with a MANTRA, OR WORD OF
POWER.

The most important characteristic of a true symbolism is
that the position of each symbol in relation to every other
symbol is of crucial importance. Consequently, once you know
the esoteric structure of a symbolism and the meaning of one
of its symbols, you are naturally capable to precisely
establish the meanings of all other symbols. Another
important characteristic of a true symbolism is that the
energy of the symbolism as a whole is qualitatively and
quantitatively superior to the sum total of its individual
symbols. Systems that lack these characteristics are, often
worthless, arrays of incoherent symbols and not true
symbolisms.

I evoked a Germanic god with a Rune. Before the god could
manifest, the Rune asked me what god I wanted to create! As
a consequence of the life force technology that I developed
(I have built the first device on this planet that actually
generates life force, i.e., the Chi Generator@, or generator
of Od) and the scientific explanation of magic, radionics,
and the power of abstractions such as thought forms, gods,
sigils, radionic settings, etc. (also a first on this
planet, see my course "Magick of the Future") , the power of
a Rune magic that is rooted in the realms of creation has
increased significantly!

PERTHRO - P: Initiation, Things Unexplained, Something
Hidden A hieratic or mystery rune pointing to that which is
beyond our frail manipulative powers. Perth is associated
with the Phoenix, the mystical bird which consumes itself in
the fire then rises from its own ashes. Its ways aresecret
and hidden. Powerful forces of change are at work here. Yet
what is achieved is not easily or readily shared. After all
becoming whole - the means of it - is a profound secret. On
the side of the Earthly or mundane, there may well be
surprises, gains or rewards that you did not anticipate. On
the side of human nature this Rune is symbolized by the
flight of the eagle. Soaring flight, free from entanglement,
lifting yourself above the endless ebb and flow of ordinary
life to acquire broader vision - all this is indicated here.
Perth stands for the heart of Initiation - Nothing external
matters here, except as it shows you in its inner
reflection. ThisRune is concerned with the deepest stratum
of our being, the bedrock on which our destiny is founded.
For some Perth means experiencing some form of death - or
transition. It is a letting go of everything, no exceptions,
no exclusions. Nothing less than renewal of the Spirit is at
stake. Hidden information and truths, mysteries, esoteric,
that which is unknown on a conscious level, it could come
into the light and you would understand the 'higher meaning'
of things. Reversed: Events stalled,

BLANK RUNE: Sometimes called "Odin's Rune": Anything is
possible and can happen. The sum total of who you are, what
you have done, and what you have become. Choose a direction
and go for it. The blank Rune was added to the others in the
1980's.

I also smear my blood on the back of the rune stones to
assimilate my life force into the stones to make them more
'mine'.
