ATDDTA (3): Control issues, Chums, They

And I shouldn't even mention it here, but the theme of interface is so 
prominent in Pynchon. Makes me think of  those critters in a petrol tank in 
GR. With the chums TRP probes further the possibilities of an interface as a 
philosophical category if you like.
