Yes, but according to Steven Weisenburger, this particular stamen arises on 
Sunday night, August 5, at 10:15 P.M. (the reference on p. 592 to Sandy 
MacPherson playing on the General Forces Programme pinpoints the exact 
time). While MacPherson hammered away at the Organ back in Old Europe, it 
was of course morning in Hiroshima: the morning of August 6 to be exact, 
which sorta throws a significant (and unholy) light on General Wivern being 
hoisted aloft, like an erect stamen in the midst of a rose-pattern....
