Keep in mind, that's George Lakoff, not me, and,
although he is persuasive with regard to US politics
in general, he may be less so with regards to
Pynchon's.

But what do y'all make of their stint as a harmonica
band?  I've that recently characteristic Lynchean
reality/fantasy transformation (Lost Highway,
Mullholland Drive, Inland Empire) in my head now ...
